For more than 15 years, Test Automation Days has proven to be the key meeting place for the international test automation community. A two-day conference filled with innovative and transforming talks, workshops and hands-on experiences.
Proving the Relevance of Test Automation
Are We Still Relevant in an AI-powered World?
We’re all trying to remain relevant in our work and in our life. Do we still matter? Do people still see the value of what we do? ‘Relevance’ refers to an important human value, through which we feel heard and through which we grow in what we are good at. As the program committee of Test Automation Days, we see the relevance of test automation. We would not have kept the conference going for so many years if we didn’t! It is important that we keep talking about test automation and its continued relevance, especially now that AI has an ever-growing presence in our work and in our lives.
During Test Automation Days we will explore questions such as:
• Will or has that relevance become larger or smaller because of AI?
• Is the role of the test automation specialist fundamentally shifting because of AI, and what does that mean for your expertise?
• Does AI ask for a redefinition of quality and trust in building, testing and delivering software?
• Are other aspects of test automation (for example test data, pipelines, security, performance) showing why it is still relevant today?
• Is it not the technology itself, but the ability to create impact with it, that determines the real relevance?
Call for Cases
It is important that we keep telling stories about test automation and its continued relevance, especially now that AI has an ever-growing presence in our work and in our life. This is your change to tell YOUR story in front of your test automation colleagues.
You don’t need to be an experienced speaker to take the stage, you just need a story that matters. The program committee is here to support you.
We are looking for half-day workshops (3-hours) on day one and 40-minute presentations during the second day. Submit your case before Friday October 9, 2026.
