Proving the Relevance of Test Automation
Are We Still Relevant in an AI-powered World?
We’re all trying to remain relevant in our work and in our life. Do we still matter? Do people still see the value of what we do? ‘Relevance’ refers to an important human value, through which we feel heard and through which we grow in what we are good at. As the program committee of Test Automation Days, we see the relevance of test automation. We would not have kept the conference going for so many years if we didn’t! It is important that we keep talking about test automation and its continued relevance, especially now that AI has an ever-growing presence in our work and in our lives.
During Test Automation Days we will explore questions such as:
• Will or has that relevance become larger or smaller because of AI?
• Is the role of the test automation specialist fundamentally shifting because of AI, and what does that mean for your expertise?
• Does AI ask for a redefinition of quality and trust in building, testing and delivering software?
• Are other aspects of test automation (for example test data, pipelines, security, performance) showing why it is still relevant today?
• Is it not the technology itself, but the ability to create impact with it, that determines the real relevance?

A helpful opportunity to network with colleagues around the world and share ideas.
An interesting event where people can practice and listen to everything related to software delivery/quality.
It was very nice to see working examples of strategies and techniques. I gained my knowledge about test automation by talking to people from different work fields and companies.
I learned a lot at this event. Learning from the experiences of colleagues from other companies gave me new ideas/insides of tackling the problems we face at my company.
It’s interesting to listen to the stories and experiences of other speakers. Talking with the participants of the event is what I love. I’ve been to multiple events but the quality of this one is very high and well organized.
