Starting with early phases of building an automation framework comes into the mind also where our automation tests will run. At the begginning yes, we are running them locally. But is this the best approach or not? Do we create more challenges by having something locally in terms of a device farm or it will satisfy our needs? Is a cloud device farm creating more complex technical challenges or it simplifies them? Can there be a compromise between the two solutions especially if mobile devices are involved? Let’s find out together what each of the approaches has to offer and the challenges which might occur, especially in terms of mobile automation.
